In vogue or out of date? The term ‘engagement’ is now common in most aspects of public and business life.  But while the term may be a little over-used, it’s not a bad description of the process through which organisations involve their people in organisational change, strategy development, operational innovation or day-to-day performance. And there’s plenty of research which clearly makes the link between highly engaged employees and better business performance.
