Our stakeholder engagement programme focuses on building support for carton collection and recycling amongst national and local decision-making audiences. We developed a partnership approach with WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme - the organisation that helps individuals, businesses and local authorities reduce waste and recycle more to combat climate change); and successfully conveyed the message to Defra through direct meetings and formal responses to consultations; engaged directly with key local government organisations and green stakeholders to turn the tide of opinion on carton recycling.
Our media relations programme focuses on local-level PR to publicise the creation of new carton ‘bring bank’ sites in towns across 70% of the UK, with a national contact programme wrap-around to position Tetra Pak as leaders in producer responsibility.
