Throughout her career Rachel has worked with major brands; in the early days this meant pure consumer media relations for fmcg products and in the last decade she has increasingly focused on managing the reputations of corporate brands. In particular, she has advised Shell on a global stakeholder engagement programme that has crossed more than 15 countries; Sainsbury's on communicating Corporate Responsibility to customers and stakeholders; and Norwich Union/Aviva on developing a framework for its community investment. Rachel also brings her consumer heritage to bear on major public sector behaviour change campaigns, from persuading adults to enrol on basic literacy and numeracy courses, to switching the nation from analogue to digital TV.
